What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Intake Associate position at Union Mission Behavioral Health Center?
Job: Workers will provide nothing less than excellent warehouse skills in collecting, sorting, preparing food and other supplies to be distributed; 1rst to Union Mission departments and 2nd to the Outreach Food Pantries that Union Mission partners within the community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Warehouse Duties:
· Separating items
· Package individual items in bulk
· Stack pallets for distribution
· Stock items on shelves
· Load and unload trucks
· Inventory of items coming in and going out
· Cleaning and safety awareness
· Forklift safety training
· Forklift driving
· Other duties as assigned.
Driving Duties for Union Mission:
· Driving to and from Union Mission to pick up food donations
· Driving to drop off food and supplies to those in need
· Complete physical examinations of the truck being driven
· After daily donation pickups, bring truck back to warehouse to unload
· Routine daily cleanup of truck
· Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communications skills.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
Credentials and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass drug screening
- Must Pass Motor Vehicle Background check
- Will train the right person
Job Type: Full-time
