At Union One, we are seeking an energetic and dedicated Benefits Administrator to serve as one of the first points of contact for our company. This role involves building rapport with our clientele through effective communication, managing back-office data, and directly supporting our Members.

Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls, assisting and enrolling Members in coverage.
- Process administrative changes across multiple systems.
- Communicate with Members regarding billing and work status, scheduling follow-ups as needed.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of policy booklets to address Union Member inquiries.
- Provide general support to Members via phone, email, text, and mail.
- Manage inboxes, faxes, and mail, responding or distributing information as appropriate.
- Assist in preparing reports and conducting regular billing audits.
Requirements:
- Strong team player with a customer-focused mindset and proven experience in customer service and administrative roles.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-call volume setting.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to learn, retain, and explain eligibility requirements and benefit options for multiple member groups.
- Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal) and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Meticulous organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong work ethic and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Type 50 words per minute and comfortable with office equipment (printers, fax machines).
- High school diploma and willingness to obtain Life and Health Insurance Licenses in IL (company-sponsored).
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
