Job Description
Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safe, punctual, and efficient movement of freight trains. This involves:

• Operating and maintaining railroad equipment, including locomotives and railcars.
• Inspecting equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working order.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and train dispatchers via radio.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Experience working outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles per shift and climb stairs and ladders.
• Normal color vision and ability to detect unusual sounds and smells during inspections.
• Willingness to comply with company policies regarding the use of personal protective equipment.
