Required Skills and Qualifications
- Able to conduct thorough inspections of railroad tracks, track beds, and track right-of-way to identify any problems or defects.
- Possess the ability to perform necessary repairs and replacements of rails, rail anchors, spikes, ballast, ties, and other components as required.
- Valid driver's license and proficiency in verbal and written communication skills to deliver information to coworkers and supervisors.
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and possess a commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or Class B.
