In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive the success of the supply team by providing front line support to global managers from across the business and helping them improve their working capital with process and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Accelerates progress on Pareto 80/20 working capital initiatives
- Leads programs to achieve5x turns on "A" inventory
- Collaborates with engineering to identify BoM simplification or consolidation opportunities of "B" inventory
- Takes personal ownership of acceptance, implementation and execution of working capital initiatives
- Leverages expertise to proactively identify and resolve issues, objections and knowledge gaps
- Implements world class SIOP
- Contributes to mechanics and cadence of new SIOP combining multiple acquired businesses' supply chain
- Persuades cross-functional team to participate
- Educates team members on benefit, purpose and process
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in demand planning, integrated business planning, procurement, materials management, or SIOP
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Successful track record improving inventory turns and working capital in technology or electronics businesses
- Strong knowledge of Pareto 80/20 principles applied to supply chain with practical experience implementing strategy
- Contributed meaningfully to implementation or re-engineering of multi-site SIOP
This position is available throughout North America and selectively in Europe.
