Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Cashier/Technician to join our pharmacy team. Duties
- Cashier duties including Western Union and providing excellent customer service
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions and established protocols.
- Maintain an organized pharmacy environment by managing inventory and ensuring proper storage of medications & constantly checking expiration dates of all medications and OTC products.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries regarding medications, usage, and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support critical care initiatives and optimize patient outcomes.
- Document medication administration and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about medical terminology and updates in pharmacy practices to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred, especially in a retail store and high paced setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with medication administration processes and safety protocols is highly desirable.
