What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deposit Services Specialist - Danbury position at Union Savings Bank - CT?
The Deposit Services Specialist provides operational support, with an emphasis on CIS-related functions including, but not limited to, new and updated deposit account and safe deposit review, return mail address changes, and monitoring of the Customer Source mailbox. In addition, this position ensures timely and accurate balancing of the Bank's net settlement and completes operational functions including, but not limited to, commercial customer transaction processing, HSA funding, and RVM maintenance.
CIS Responsibilities
- Daily review of new and updated deposit account documentation.
- Create address change workflows for all return mail notices.
- Daily review of customer tax identification number changes.
- Ongoing monitoring of the Customer Source mailbox.
- Ensure accurate record retention of deposit account documentation.
- Correspondence with branch staff, as needed, to ensure timely resolution of documentation
errors. - Review all safe deposit box records, including documentation pertaining to new and amended
boxes.
Net Settlement Duties
- Perform daily balancing of the Bank's net settlement.
- Research and respond to all incoming check adjustment requests, and coordinate with the
Operations Help Desk Specialist on all outgoing check adjustments. - Maintain all applicable reports as necessary.
Ongoing Responsibilities
- Perform daily processing of commercial customer deposits.
- Process weekly HSA funding.
- Daily RVM maintenance
- Provide ongoing support to the Operations Help Desk area.
- Provide ongoing assistance with deposit account verifications.
- Provide ongoing assistance with Social Security Administration verifications.
This position is based out of our Danbury Headquarters office located at 225 Main St. Danbury, CT
