Execute on Bank’s mortgage strategy in expanding our outreach to underserved markets, primarily focusing on majority / minority census tract areas (MMCT) along with Low to Mod Income areas (LMI). Build and develop relationships with realtors, housing agencies, associations, etc. within these underserved markets, creating brand and product awareness. Perform various educational seminars focused on product awareness, accessibility and trust-building. Seminars to include informational materials consisting of homebuyer education and the benefits of homeownership along with available assistance programs offered in our areas. Work closely with branch partners in cultivating relationships within their market areas along with collaboration with the various COI’s to help spread our message and focus on the targeted markets we serve. Work with the bank’s marketing team in launching targeted marketing campaigns to showcase our commitment to aspiring homeowners emphasizing the three key pillars of product awareness, easy accessibility and our expertise and commitment to client success. Collaborate with Sales Manager as well as SVP of department in analyzing current product offerings to determine if adequate or if the need of expansion is required. If so, work with the various department personnel to develop and execute on any newly created product. Perform phone duty assignments as required by being available to answer cold call customers’ questions and give them guidance. Interview mortgage applicants, assist customer in completing application and collect documentation to support application information. Explain different financing, mortgage programs and their requirements including risk-based pricing. Analyze customer’s financial posture. Determine if it meets the loan criteria established by the Bank. Complete application package, submit information to Loan Origination System, and submit file to mortgage processing. Maintain contact on loan progress with processors and customers to provide assistance in collecting additional data as may be needed. Follow up post-closing with customers to ensure total satisfaction. Submit monthly reports, as required, to Sales Manager on a timely basis. Maintain a high profile with and participate in local community groups and organizations, increasing the Bank’s visibility within the community. Comply with all S.A.F.E. Act regulations including keeping registration information (including but not limited to name, home address and work address) up to date and status as active. Provide N.M.L.S. registration number to consumers upon request and in all written communications in accordance with law, specifically on e-mail signatures and business cards. |
