The Operations Help Desk Specialist supports the daily functions of the Bank Operations department through a wide variety of tasks, and serves as a contact point for internal staff inquiries.
Help Desk Duties |
· Respond to, resolve, and/or redirect issues received from internal departments. · Respond to, resolve, and/or redirect mail requests received from customers. · Perform account file maintenance as needed. · Complete research requests within established timeframes. · Complete transaction requests as needed. |
Operational Support Duties |
· Process deposit account fee rebate requests. · Process account lockout requests as directed by the Special Assets department. · Process account charge-offs and report to Chex Systems as directed by the Special Assets department. · Complete check adjustment requests and ensure accurate tracking of adjustment submissions. · Daily balancing of outgoing return cash letter. |
Remote Worker Support Duties |
· Process requests received from remote Deposit Services team members, including, but not limited to: o Printing and mailing of documents to customers. o Outgoing IRA/HSA transfer requests. o Transaction requests. |
Ongoing Additional Duties:
- Participate in yearly deposit escheat process.
- Engage in regular review of written procedures and update as needed.
- Review assigned duties for efficiency on an ongoing basis.
- Assist and provide backup to department staff as needed.
