What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Union State Bank?
- Manage debit cards including but not limited to the following:
- Order personal debit cards and process card maintenance.
- Answer customer debit card questions & review Falcon cases.
- Manage debit card dispute processing for all locations.
- Complete balancing of ATM GLs and Card Settlement GLs.

Changing CD rates, updating rate sheet, & Ratewatch
- Sending out all CD checks and advance renewal letters;
- Coordinate Safe Deposit Boxes management among branches. Reviewing maintenance & reminding branches of billing and notices.
- Possible Customer Service responsibilities; assist in opening &/or closing procedures daily, service customers at counter, new accounts, answer phones, order checks, mail and night drop entries, maintenance, EOD Balancing bank and to GL.
- Perform other related duties such as typing, filing or computer operations.
- Follow all bank policies and procedures.
Backup
- Daily ATM settlement entries.
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Technically proficient in computer skills related to the task list above.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associates Degree
- One or more years of experience of customer service
