We are seeking an Assistant Manager and or Supervisors to assist in day to day operations at our Brewpub, Union Station Brewery, Providence RI. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established restaurant group with multiple concepts.
Assistant Manager
Our ‘A Player’ will be responsible for:
Providing Leadership - must be a team player and role model with strong leadership skills as it relates to training and mentoring staff, and creating a positive, fun and productive working environment
Adaptability – working with the general managers to grow sales, train staff and assist in maintaining an efficient operation
Delivering an Exceptional Experience – we pride ourselves on delivering absolute guest satisfaction
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answering to the General Manager
Inspect dining room, receiving orders, preparing for service, production, maintaining storage areas, ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times, all policies and procedures are upheld and protocols are followed for the security and safety of our guests and employees
Investigate and resolve issues and complaints in a timely manner and with a positive resolution
Oversee cleaning and maintenance of equipment and arrange for repairs, contracts and other services
Assist with implementing, advertising and promotional campaigns
Assist the general manager in controlling costs as well as ensuring the restaurant profits
Supervise inventories and estimate food and beverage costs; requisition and purchase as needed
Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities, as required by the General Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Exceptional written and oral communications with the ability to provide clear direction to staff
Positive attitude, energetic, creative and a problem-solver
Must lead by example, motivate and foster a collaborative team environment
Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience
Supervisor
Answering to the General Manager
Inspect dining room, receiving orders, preparing for service, production, maintaining storage areas, ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times, all policies and procedures are upheld and protocols are followed for the security and safety of our guests and employees

Oversee front of house staff during service insuring standards are followed at all times
Assist with implementing, advertising and promotional campaigns
Assist the general manager in controlling costs as well as ensuring the restaurant profits
Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities, as required by the General Manager.
