Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to provide safe and effective treatments.
- Administer various types of massages, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to each client's requirements.
- Implement pain management techniques to help clients alleviate discomfort and promote relaxation.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable and valued throughout their experience.
- Collaborate with other health professionals in an occupational health setting when necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and anatomy.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
- Experience or interest in occupational health practices is a plus.
- Proficient in pain management strategies and techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Previous experience in a med spa environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.

Pay: $46.44 - $51.51 per hour
