Responsibilities will be varied and primarily include being part of a veterinarian/administrative assistant/veterinary assistant trio providing dedicated medical care and support to our highly valued clientele and their horses. The successful candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, motivation to collaborate as part of a highly engaged team and prior equine veterinary experience.
Licensed veterinary technicians are encouraged to apply! We provide financial support for continuing education and development, licensing and membership fees. Licensed technicians also have the opportunity to develop roles in surgery and medicine.
Veterinarians and assistants at our practice are involved in a large variety of case types and equestrian disciplines. Our roles are ever evolving with new opportunities for growth and development around every corner. Our team is constantly exploring new ways to provide exceptional veterinary care for our patients.
In addition the veterinary support team is also responsible for cleaning and maintaining the main hospital, secondary clinic where patients are housed, all stalls, surgery suite and 3 season barn. Assisting veterinarians with patient handling and procedures, billing, client communication and collaboration with other veterinary teams. Prepare equipment and facilities for procedures and clean up afterwards. Help maintain the facilities exterior to reflect the professionalism and high level of care our clients have come to respect and value from our amazing team!
Please note applicant must be capable of intense physical labor and the ability to lift 50 lbs. The screening questions are required when applying or your application will not be reviewed. Licensed technicians are encouraged to apply and pay range will reflect experience and skills.
