Job Description
Uniparts Olsen Inc. is seeking an entry level systems analyst for installing, maintaining, and repairing computer hardware and software including but not limited to: desktops, laptops, servers, cell phones, and wired/wireless networks. Candidate must be an expert in Microsoft Windows and Office 365 with an emphasis in Microsoft Windows Servers. Customer service and communication skills must be exemplary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Investigate user problems, identify source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
· Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, Microsoft networks, file servers, Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems; add or upgrade and configure disk drives, computer components, printers, and related equipment.
· Assist in maintaining licensed software for the property.
· Troubleshoot systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
· Develop and conduct various training and instruction for system users on operating systems, and other applications; assist users in maximizing use of networks and computing systems.
· Establish and perform preventative maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
· Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability.
· Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
· Assist all company personnel as a computer resource.
· Provide computer orientation to new company staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in relatable field or two to three years of IT experience.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
· Strong administrative, organizational and decision-making abilities.
· Knowledge of computing and network hardware and peripheral equipment.
· Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel and provide technical training to end users.
· Ability to install, configure, and maintain personal computers, networks, and related hardware and software.
· Knowledge of federal copyright laws as they pertain to the use of computer software.
· Knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques.
· Ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operational problems.
· Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
· Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
