Working as part of the Uniper Global Origination (GLO) team in North America, this role will identify and secure downstream Hydrogen end-use sales and originate hydrogen offtake transactions with a focus core markets in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales, marketing, and brand growth of our hydrogen products and services business in the United States. This role involves developing and executing go-to-market strategies, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure successful customer acquisition and retention. You will leverage market research, industry insights, and a customer-centric approach to expand our market share in the rapidly evolving hydrogen sector.

Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Advanced Degree and or MBA is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing roles, ideally within the industrial gases (hydrogen), clean energy, ammonia, or related sectors
- Self-starter with a proven track record of driving sales growth and market expansion, particularly in a B2B environment within the energy value-chain
- Strong understanding of the U.S. energy markets, hydrogen technologies, industrial gases and sustainability trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and relevant stakeholders
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with diverse departments
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically, with a data-driven analytics approach to decision-making
- Intuitive knowledge of commercial and technical feasibility of deal leads in order to prioritize origination efforts
- Proven track record in collaborating on large scale transactions with team members, as well as internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple potential transactions and business opportunities
- Quantitative modeling skills - demonstrable knowledge of either asset modeling or modeling and pricing commodity structures
- Strong team player able to cooperate with members from internal support desks (Operations, Documentation, Risk, Legal, other Front Office desks) to head the deal lifecycle from initiation to execution
- Knowledgeable in Hydrogen Supply and Value Chains
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 50%)
