Position Overview:

The Regional Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of all Loss Prevention functions including inventory accuracy, safety, business continuity, shortage control, investigations, field team leadership, and corporate security within their specific region. All applicants must be able to demonstrate strong business acumen and a forward-thinking, strategic mindset. Ability to be hands on with driving solutions and delivering results in a fast-paced and challenging environment is a must in order to be successful in this role.


Requirements:

  • Create and implement long-term strategies to reduce loss and minimize potential risk to future issues within their assigned region. Work closely with executive leadership to drive initiatives and ensure Loss Prevention goals align with overall organizational strategy.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to drive successful operational execution. Build and leverage relationships with law enforcement and external business partners outside of the organization
  • Responsible for the implementation and execution of all Loss Prevention initiatives and policies within their assigned region to protect the company’s assets and ensure the safety of all customers and employees.
  • Recruit, hire, and train Loss Prevention personnel within assigned locations for open field positions. Including, onboarding, sign off, ongoing review of apprehension activity, and career development for LP staff. Develop Loss Prevention staff for future leadership roles.
  • Directly manage all internal and external investigations within assigned locations targeting the reduction of theft and fraud activity at store locations within the bounds of established company policies and with regard to Federal, State, and local laws.
  • Develop and implement loss reduction plans in partnership with store teams and provide ongoing follow up throughout the inventory cycle to ensure compliance.
  • Manage and maintain Loss Prevention technology equipment within assigned locations. Including CCTV, Access Control, EAS, and Intrusion Detection systems. Utilize technology including exception-based reporting systems to identify dishonest activity both internally and externally.
  • Become a subject matter expert for the RFID Inventory system and provide training for field team members on an ongoing basis. Identify outliers and solve operational issues in partnership with the Loss Prevention Inventory Accuracy team.
  • Provide direct support and training to stores for taking of financial inventory and all item cycle counts as directed.
  • Regularly communicate with other LP team members, and support cross-communication between store and other departments to identify common
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly Loss Prevention audits and other audits as assigned and provide direct feedback for stores.
  • Responsible for managing security related budget expenses.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of Loss Prevention or Asset Protection experience in a multi-unit capacity.
  • Complete understanding of Federal, State, and local laws and regulations regarding apprehensions, safety, and all aspects of Loss Prevention.
  • Significant experience in Internal Investigation including use of exception reporting systems and internal investigation interviewing.
  • Significant experience in managing external apprehension programs; Proven ability to interface with law enforcement and legal professionals on both criminal and civil matters
  • Experience with Loss Prevention technology and methods, including CCTV, covert surveillance, EAS, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and inventory accuracy principles. Previous use of RFID technology recommended, but not required.
  • Strong leadership qualities including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters in a discrete and ethical manner. Must have strong business acumen and be a strategic thinker.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS-Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and G-Suite tools (Drive, Sheets, etc.)
  • Ability to manage time and able to meet all deadlines, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities of the business.
  • Ability to set goals, promote accountability, and manage the performance of remote personnel with varying skill sets.
  • Ability to multitask, work quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing attention to detail in a remote environment away from their direct supervisor.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for an entire shift and be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular travel within the assigned region is required. Travel may be necessary within the needs of the business.



Salary: $115,000 - $128,000 annually*

*The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
