What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electro Mechanical Technician position at Unique Electric Solutions LLC?
UES is seeking an individual for electrical and mechanical assembly for vehicles. At least 3-5 years hand on experience in one of the following industries is required: aviation, marine, bus, truck or military vehicles.
Position is focused on converting delivery trucks to environmentally friendly all-electric operation. UES has a contract with a major Global Package Delivery Company to convert vehicles for New York City and other metropolitan areas.
Skills must include the ability to read schematics, fabricate/route/dress/support wire harnesses, electrical troubleshooting, in-house mechanical assembly and field service. Light welding and sheet metal fabrication skills are a plus. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate vehicle lift is required. Although this is a manufacturing position, responsibilities include periodic travel to all points within NYS and trade show events.
The ability to use a laptop or PC is required to interface with customers via email, write reports and be willing to be trained to use diagnostic software and hardware component viewers to build, design and troubleshoot our systems. Position requires strong communication skills in order to interface with inside team, customers and vendors to address problems, make improvements and streamline manufacturing. Automobile and clean driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
