Position: PET/CT Technologist
Location: South Florida
Weekdays: Monday- Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Unique Imaging, is currently seeking experienced PET/CT Technologists to join our team in South Florida. The successful candidate will be experienced and work independently performing PET/CT and CT procedures. Experience and oversight of regulatory procedures and protocols. Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively within a clinical setting, interactions with radiology, physicians, and office staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality PET/CT & CT procedures.
- Conduct daily QA on equipment, adhering to quality assurance guidelines.
- Execute exams as prescribed by referring physicians, following policy/procedure manual.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals
- Obtain detailed patient history relevant to the prescribed exam.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming work environment.
- Demonstrate professionalism, genuine care, and compassion to patients while ensuring confidentiality.
- Address patient concerns proactively, communicating effectively with the Clinical Manager and/or Reading Radiologist.
- Adhere to company dress code and appearance standards.
- Timely report mechanical malfunctions and supply shortages.
**Qualifications:**
- NMTCB and ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine and/or CT, current and in good standing.
- Graduate of an Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology.
- Current State of Florida Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or CT Certification.
- Training and experience sufficient to competently perform PET/CT and/or CT procedures independently.
**Experience:**
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience with PET/CT and/or CT equipment from GE and/or Phillips.
**License:**
- Valid ARRT certification and registration (Preferred).
