Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mail Carrier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to various locations within a designated route. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to manage heavy lifting, and proficiency in route driving. As a Mail Carrier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery while maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

• Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along an assigned route.
• Load and unload mail and packages from the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, ensuring all items are accounted for.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and during deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mail carrier or as a delivery driver at least 1 year experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading of mail/packages.
• Experience with route driving is advantageous, demonstrating familiarity with local areas.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
