What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tour Guide/Driver position at Unique Maui Tours / Explore Maui Nature?
We're looking for a couple of tour guides for a small, private tour company. Get paid to have fun showing the island to visitors, swim in waterfalls and hike in the jungle :-) Part-time, casual, or full-time--depends on your availability ($300 base, plus tips ranging $100-$200 sometimes even more)
Requirements:
- MUST be a Maui resident for at least 2-3 years
- MUST have a HI driver's license and clean driving record & background
- must be available at least Sundays
- responsible, outgoing, problem-solver, flexible, able to work independently
- good knowledge of Hawaiian history, geology, flora & fauna, culture...
- outstanding customer service skills/personality
- CPR/1st aid certification (may be obtained after hiring)
- must be in good physical condition (able to hike for extended periods of time)
