Unique Metal Fabrication (UMF)
has an opening for Full-Time Loader Operator. This is a day shift position working 6am to 4pm, Monday – Friday. Competitive wages and excellent benefits. Loader Operator
Load and unload construction materials onto flatbed trucks using forklifts or by hand. - Ensure materials are securely loaded and properly balanced on trucks. - Perform regular checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition. - Manually lift and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more regularly.
Some other responsibilities of a loader may include:
- Inspecting product for quality before loading onto trucks
- Palletizing orders as needed before loading onto trucks
- Positioning trucks in docks for loading
- Retrieving product needed for the day from other areas
- Tagging product with a slot label and placing in the correct slot location
