What are the responsibilities and job description for the Party Rental Driver and Installer position at Unique Party Rental?
We are looking for a Driver to deliver and install event rentals in a safe and timely manner. Driver responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions and providing great costumer service. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction, making sure clients depend on us for their rental needs. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Must be comfortable driving 16 foot box truck. Loading and installing tents.
Responsibilities
- Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
- Check invoices and load complete orders
- Collect payments and issue receipts
- Deliver and install party rental goods in a timely matter
- Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
- Clean and return all rentals to proper place.
- Communicate any issues to management in a timely fashion
- Help with any other operations of the warehouse.
- Follow any Covid-19 cdc guidelines
- Check delivery vehicle every morning pre trip.
- Prep and separate orders prior to delivery
- Have excellent costumer service.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Driver
- A valid driver’s license
- A clean driving record
- Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Ability to lift heavy packages
- Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
- A polite and professional disposition
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
- Class c license a plus but not required
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
