Full-time Automotive Parts Counter Person - We offer a chance to work with vehicles most people only dream about, competitive wages and a positive work environment.
We are a growing collector car dealership in Mankato, MN.
Previous automotive experience is preferred. Knowledge of collector vehicles also preferred. Job duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
- Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Reviews shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
- Provides high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Reorders out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Notifies the service manager when parts have been received.
- Notifies the shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
- Puts incoming parts on tech shelves, making sure all parts are tagged with R.O. number.
- Follows up on back-ordered parts.
- Reports parts on order weekly to CFO and service manager
- Verifies returns to vendors and ensures proper credits are received.
- Maintains a shop supply inventory and refills as needed.
- Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
- Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices and estimates.
- Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up.
- Keeps counter areas and floor surrounding clean and uncluttered.
- Participates in all training programs that are made available.
- Keeps current on new products and product updates.
- Provides assistance to service manager and shop foreman as needed.
- Maintains professional appearance.
