Position: Java Backend Developer (Banking Domain)
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 12 Months contract position
Note: Illinois Candidate only
Description:
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and J2EE and MicroServices and building highly available software
- Proven experience in software development methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task
- Experience as part of an Agile engineering or development team
- Strong hands-on experience and understanding of Java Springboot based microservices and J2EE technologies
- Strong experience with RDMS technologies including Postgress Database
- Strong understanding of microservices patterns
- Strong knowldge of Java design patterns
- SpringBoot, J2EE, Microservices, Core Java
- OCP/Kubernetes technologies
- Artifactory
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience writing unit and service level tests to ensure adequate code coverage
- Proven skills in high availability and scalability design, as well as performance monitoring
- Experience developing and implementing API service architecture
- Experience in working with relational databases
- Understanding of messaging systems like MQ, Rabbit MQ, Kafka
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to be able to partner with business stakeholders and other
