JOB DESCRIPTION :
As a Data Scientist, you will leverage advanced analytics and statistical modeling techniques to extract meaningful insights from vast data. You will be crucial in driving data-driven decision-making and developing innovative solutions to enhance our business operations. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and programming, with the ability to translate complex findings into actionable recommendations.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Data Analysis and Modeling :
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques to explore and analyze complex datasets, identifying patterns, trends, and relationships.
- Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems, optimize processes, and improve decision-making.
- Apply data mining and visualization techniques to transform raw data into meaningful insights and reports.
- Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics :
- Develop predictive models to forecast customer behavior, demand patterns, and market trends, contributing to business growth strategies.
- Conduct A / B testing and experimentation to evaluate the effectiveness of new initiatives and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Utilize optimization techniques to improve resource allocation, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency.
- Data-driven Decision Making :
- Communicate complex analytical findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with business leaders and teams to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making and develop strategies to address business challenges.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis, supporting the development and execution of data-driven initiatives.
- Data Management and Governance :
- Gather and clean data from various sources, ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency.

EXPERIENCE :
Outlined below are the academic qualifications and length and type of experience deemed necessary by Unique Vacations Inc. in order to perform the role of Data Scientist competently.
Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience : 5 years of relevant work experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or e-commerce industry. Preferred experience with PowerBI.
