Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled implementation specialist to act as the IT bridge between our clients and Unis, utilizing API / EDI methods to integrate clients' requirements with Unis' Warehouse Management System and other internal systems, ensuring their data transmission needs are met. In this role, you will interact directly with clients, sales, and operations, providing valuable implementation advice, submitting requirements to the development center, managing the entire project, and being responsible for both progress and client satisfaction.
To be successful as an implementation specialist, you should be proficient in system integration methodology and able to work well as part of a team. Ultimately, an outstanding Implementation Specialist should demonstrate sound technical knowledge as well as exceptional analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
Job Functions :
1. Meeting with clients following the signing of Statement of Work (SOW) to collect data and other information required for system integration.
2. Creating a project plan for each client, detailing the tasks that need to be completed for the timely installation of customized operations procedures (e.g. specific retailer’s shipping label requirements.)
3. Communicating with clients throughout the customization testing process to obtain feedback and approval.
4. Customizing both system and operation processes based on clients’ individual needs and specifications.
5. Educating clients on how to use Unis WMS client portal system and customized system features.
6. Creating a specialized document for each client, detailing all customizations made.
7. Ensuring that the project team is aware of key deliverables and project milestones.
8. Responsible for EDI / API customer demand analysis, understanding and evaluating customer integration needs.
9. Analyze messages of EDI / API and existing business systems, interfaces, and databases; perform mapping and develop rule document output.
10. End-to-end collaboration with development engineers and customers to develop and implement EDI / API projects and deliver them to customer.
11. Implement and configure system flow according to customer requirements and specifications.
12. After implementation, train end users on how to use the system correctly
13. Track and report progress of implementation projects to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements : Job requirements
1. Full-time undergraduate or above, major in information technology or computer engineering.
2. Have 3 years of experience in software implementation or customer support,
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and SQL database management systems.
3. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams, detail-oriented.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, excellent communication and coordination skills and project promotion capabilities.
6. Candidates with working experience in logistics industry will be given priority, experience with project methodologies like Agile or waterfall is a plus.
7. Over 1 year of experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, JSON, Flatfile, and other message mapping formats. Familiarity with the business processes and message content of the 800 and 900 series will be given priority.
