Unison is looking for candidates interested the mental health field to join our comprehensive crisis care team in our new voluntary, 12 bed, 24-hour stabilization unit. We are looking for passionate, dynamic individuals to provide direct care and support. Team members will work collaboratively with mobile crisis, law enforcement and other community partners.
This position provides direct services to clients with severe and persistent mental illness and / or a substance abuse diagnosis to assist in resolving or minimizing the client's current crisis. Responsibilities include client assess-ment, facilitating groups, treatment monitoring, crisis intervention, linking and training in community resources, assistance in daily living skills, and obtaining necessary services for meeting basic human needs and entitlements.
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements listed :
- Bachelor's degree
- High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience working with individuals with a mental illness and / or substance use disorder
