Job Description: Responsible for working with clubhouse members in the home and school setting to work on individual skills setting to achieve goals and facilitating clubhouse groups focusing on skill development. Provides a broad range of social services to clients and their families. Participates in treatment team planning and performs crisis intervention. Assists in dealing with personal and social problems. Serves as a liaison for social services (possesses a working knowledge of available resources in the Douglas area will be useful). Will perform case management duties in the community or at the client’s residence. Operates a 15-passenger van route for clubhouse students at the end of the day. Preference for experience with or knowledge of trauma informed, resilience-oriented care.
Job Responsibilities: Will work Monday-Friday, 10 AM – 7 PM (10 AM – 1 PM will work Coffee BH Adults and 2 PM – 7 PM with Clubhouse children). Will work one Saturday a month for youth activities. During the summer and school holidays, hours will change based on parent preference.
Competencies: Knowledge of community resources and connections. Knowledge of recovery process and symptom management. Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Required Minimum Qualifications: HS Diploma/GED and 3 years of mental health experience, or associate degree in a helping field with 1 year of applicable experience. Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Georgia driver’s license and with a clean driving record having no more than 6 points.
