Job Description: Provide psychiatric healthcare services for adults, children, and adolescents under the supervision of a physician in an outpatient setting. Provide medical treatment.
Anticipated Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7 AM – 6 PM.
Competencies: Ability to assess, plan for and provide basic nursing skills. Knowledge of procedures including developing, implementing, and revising plan of care. Ability to formulate diagnosis based on examination and test results. Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques. Ability to work effectively as part of a team of health care professionals. Ability to prescribe certain medications as part of a treatment plan, gaining physician approval when needed.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant License in the state of Georgia and must be willing to become Suboxone Certified and obtain Psychiatric Certification. Minimum of three years’ experience in behavioral health/psychiatric services. Must be at least 21 years old to apply. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record with less than 6 points.
