Unison Health, a leading resource for people seeking access to behavioral health, substance abuse treatment and primary healthcare services in northwest Ohio is seeking experienced therapists to join us in our mission of “creating hope through superior integrated community health care”.
Unison Health is looking for individuals to serve in an on-call capacity for Crisis Services provided in Wood County after hours. This is a great opportunity for licensed professionals that are passionate about supporting individuals going through a mental health crisis and has a flexible schedule.
These services are designed to treat crisis in the community in order to avoid unnecessary incarceration and/or hospitalizations. Individuals will respond to calls as needed at various community locations such as the hospital, University, with law enforcement as requested and possibly in residential settings.
Responsibilities:
- Complete diagnostic assessments, develop/coordinate treatment plans, and crisis management.
- Provide individual therapy.
- Maintain accurate records and provide advocacy and linkage to services when needed.
- Communicate with team members, local law enforcement, and hospitals.
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree and Ohio licensure (LSW/LPC).
- Ohio licensure as an LISW/LPCC is preferred.
- Prior crisis experience with individuals with chronic mental illness, hospital crisis services, or inpatient psychiatric care is preferred.
- Must have strong assessment skills.
- Must be able to work overnight on call.
Schedule:
- Two nights during the week Monday – Thursday, on call basis 5p to 8a the following morning.
- One weekend per month commitment Friday- Sunday on call basis, 5p on Friday to 8a on Monday.
