Human Resource Generalist
Unison Health is seeking a Human Resource Generalist. This position coordinates various aspects within the human resources program including but not limited to day-to-day benefits administration, event planning, agency training and credentialing.
Education/Experience/Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business discipline such as Human Resources preferred. A comparable amount of experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- At least three years of experience in benefits administration and/or a combination of benefits/human resources including proficiency with computer and HRIS systems required.
- Attention to detail and excellent data entry skills required.
- Project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Duties:
- Handles the day-to-day administration of the employee benefit programs.
- Assists employees with questions or problems related to Human Resources.
- Assists with pension plan administration.
- Prepares reports from HRIS and analyzes content for use in required reporting processes and the monitoring of patterns and trends.
- Inputs and maintains data in HRIS system and continually audits for accuracy.
- Assists with the administration of Worker’s Compensation claims.
- Coordinates Family Medical and other leaves.
- Implements and maintains the performance management process.
- Assists in the agency credentialing process.
- Recommends and implements ways to improve HR processes and systems within the department.
- Chairs Employee Recognition Committee.
- Assists in the coordination of agency trainings and maintenance of the agency provider status.
- Assists with New Hire Orientation.
- Participates in team meetings, supervision, in-service training, and conferences according to established policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
