The Team:
The Lease Administration Coordinator will report to our Senior Manager of Lease Administration and play a key role in managing and administrating the company’s lease portfolio. This position will be responsible for ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of lease agreements, renewals, and amendments. The Lease Administrator will work closely with various internal teams, including Legal, Finance, and Operations, to ensure all lease agreements are managed effectively and comply with company policies.
The Job:
Administer, review, and track lease agreements for both owned and leased properties across multiple locations.
Ensure all lease terms and conditions are accurately reflected in internal databases and systems.
Coordinate lease renewals, amendments, and terminations, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Work closely with Legal and Finance teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to lease terms, payments, and compliance.
Monitor and manage key lease milestones, such as rent payments, insurance requirements, and lease expirations.
Prepare and maintain accurate reports on lease obligations, financial impact, and critical dates for renewals or terminations.
Review and process rent payments and adjustments, ensuring accurate accounting treatment.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for lease-related expenses.
Ensure that all lease documentation is properly filed, maintained, and easily accessible.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary lease documentation and responding to inquiries.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure lease requirements align with operational needs and regulatory standards.
Provide general support to the Real Estate and Property Management teams as needed.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
3 years of experience in lease administration, preferably in the telecom, real estate, or infrastructure sectors.
Strong knowledge of lease agreements, terms, and lease management software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and lease management software (e.g., MRI, Yardi, etc.).
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple lease agreements and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Solid understanding of financial concepts related to leases, including rent escalations, CAM charges, and lease accounting.
