Duties:
- Strengthen the security team's capabilities by planning and delivering solutions, mentoring team members, answering technical questions, and fostering process improvements.
- Define security requirements by assessing business strategies, researching industry standards, conducting risk assessments, analyzing system vulnerabilities, and estimating costs.
- Design security systems by evaluating network and security technologies, establishing requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and other security tools, and implementing PKI solutions.
- Deploy security systems by specifying intrusion detection methods, overseeing hardware and software installations, implementing preventive measures, and providing ongoing technical support.
- Ensure system security effectiveness by developing and executing test scripts.
- Maintain compliance with evolving security standards, policies, and procedures through continuous monitoring, incident response analysis, and security training programs.
- Enhance security infrastructure by identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring the security environment, and implementing necessary upgrades.
- Generate system security reports by analyzing and summarizing security data, trends, and key metrics.
- Stay current with industry trends by tracking emerging security practices, participating in professional development, and engaging with industry organizations.
- Lead security enhancements for Active Directory and Office 365 environments, collaborating with Security Architecture and Security Engineering teams to implement improvements.
- Drive security improvements for cloud environments, working with the CISO to integrate solutions into the security roadmap and supporting implementation efforts.
- Assist in application and data security reviews to ensure compliance with security policies and the application of proper security controls.
- Support Security Engineering and Enterprise Applications teams in implementing security measures, including multi-factor authentication, database encryption, and web application firewalls.
- Partner with Security leadership, Enterprise Applications, and Network teams to evaluate and design new security solutions, such as key management, cloud security, and SIEM integrations.
- Provide expert guidance throughout the full security technology lifecycle, from evaluation and testing to deployment and support.
- Ensure security technologies are correctly implemented and seamlessly integrated into enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project teams and Security and IT Architecture functions to embed security considerations into solution design and implementation.
- Conduct research on emerging security technologies and assess their application within the corporate environment.
- Design and document new system implementations and system integrations.
- Promote secure software development practices, including threat modeling and security testing integration.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security and Risk Management, Information Systems, Engineering or related major.
- CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CCNA, CCENT, GSEC, or MCSA certification required.
Additional Experience-Nice to Have:
- Expertise in Security Operations Center (SOC) processes.
- Advanced proficiency in SIEM solutions such as RSA Archer, QRadar, Rsam, and similar platforms.
- Extensive experience with ERP/ERD security tools, including Cybereason, CrowdStrike, or comparable products.
- Strong technical background in security aspects across multiple platforms, operating systems, software, and network protocols, including LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, and security infrastructure.
- Deep knowledge of security technologies such as Active Directory, Cisco, Palo Alto, Microsoft Server, intrusion detection, remote access, authentication, encryption, PKI, DLP, anti-malware, firewalls, and network administrative services (RADIUS, TACACS).
- Strong understanding of DMZ network perimeter structure and architecture.
- Excellent analytical skills, consultative approach, sound judgment, and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong analytical mindset with effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive security initiatives.
- Proven ability to quickly learn and develop expertise in new technologies.
- Highly organized with strong follow-up skills to meet deadlines, coordinate teamwork, and manage multiple concurrent projects.
- In-depth knowledge of security controls in Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365 services.
- Strong understanding of security controls within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to collaborate across departments, including Engineering, Security, Application Teams, and Internal Audit.
- Working knowledge of compliance frameworks and security management standards such as NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, ISO 27002, COBIT, PCI DSS, and HIPAA.
