MOVE COORDINATOR
Job Summary:
The role of the Move Coordinator is to assist the Space Planning and Management team with the planning and implementation of relocations, logistic moves, furniture reconfigurations, and IT systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provides operational and procedural support to ensure projects / tasks are executed in accordance with established departmental, building, and client means, methods, and procedures
- Process and schedule all ergonomic furniture order requests. Once order has been approved by client, coordinate installation.
- Process all meeting room set-up requests as specified by client.
- Process all ergonomic reconfiguration requests.
- Serves as client single-point-of-contact for day- to- day moves, adds, and changes, and project execution related to move management. Receives all requests for user moves and oversees scheduling, execution and vendor management
- Schedule delivery of boxes and labels required to process a move. Ensure that the new location is clean and in move-in condition.
- Coordinates manpower for daily moves and work orders
- Schedule equipment and items needed to accommodate move (order e-crates, labels, boxes, etc.)
- Process all move requests.
- Develops Weekly Move Spreadsheet and distributes to both client and Unisource
- Actively participates in all Move Coordination meetings
- Process set up requests for new hires. Ensure the cubicle is ready and in move-in condition.
- Order nameplates and deliver to the new hire.
- Process requests for duplicate furniture keys.
- Process requests for hanging artwork as approved by management.
- Room setups, clock batteries, task light or furniture, chairs missing/broken, wanting a different chair, furniture keys, MAC, ergo, box deliveries, move prep, easel deliveries, name plates/print/cut/hang, hanging art.
- Monitor and process daily work orders. Schedule appropriate manpower to process requests in a professional and timely fashions.
- Provide superior customer service and customer support for day to day activities and questions as well as project lead for large moves.
- Process all set-ups as requested on floorplan provided by client. Schedule manpower required to process set-up.
