Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive and inventory incoming items using Oracle SBX System/Excel in a timely manner.
• Help determine disposition of non-conforming or usable product.
• Inform Supervisors/Managers of any change of activities in the warehouse including labor personnel, space utilization, inventory, and equipment.
• Spot check assigned accounts and ensured inventory accuracy.  Inform Supervisors/Managers of any adjustments.
• Always maintain all assigned account work areas clean and safe from any debris or non-useable product.
• Rack products by replenishing existing racks and with a “ready to pull” mentality.
• Verifies pulls, cleans, and stages product in designated outgoing area.
• Completes transfers and or adjusts inventory from pick slip form/tablet and or rack locator, after and during pulls.
• Inventory specialist along with quality coordinator verifies pulls and signs off quality control sheet to ensure all product and or hardware are complete, accurate, and clean, ready for deployment.
• After any assignment or project completion, Warehouseman collects and records man hours on white and labor time sheet/tablet app
• Be able to modify and refurbish product accordingly within specifications.
• Off-load and return any equipment not assigned to specialist or project.
• Understand standard Haworth products and basic installation sequences
• Comply with the safety rule practices by wearing forklift harnesses and boot type footwear. Use the proper equipment to move or transport product throughout the warehouse. 
• Maintain safe lifting and proper handling product up to 40 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to type accurately and enter required product information into a computer system
• Haworth furniture product knowledge preferred.
• At least one (1) year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with others.
• Working knowledge of Oracle/SBX/MS Excel software preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive bobtail truck preferred.
