Requirements
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including hours of service, mileage, and expenses.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or defects to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring all required equipment is in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with other team members, providing updates on delivery status and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety and compliance guidelines.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Must be insurable through company insurance.
- Must pass background check and preemployment drug screen.
