What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL-A Driver / Yard Spotter * Class A License Required position at Unistress Corp?
At our company, safety is a choice—and we choose to be safe. As a CDL Class-A Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service. Your key duties include :
- Commit to Safety – Always wear and properly maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE) while strictly following all safety policies and procedures.
- Inspect Equipment – Conduct thorough pre-shift, pre-trip, and post-trip inspections to ensure all equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Operate a yard horse to maneuver and move precast product.
- Perform Hands-On Tasks – Assist with site cleanup, sample collection, waste removal, and other remediation activities as needed.
- Maintain Accurate Records – Complete all required driver logs, reports, and documentation promptly and accurately.
- Perform Routine Maintenance – Take responsibility for daily preventative maintenance tasks, such as greasing, washing, and general upkeep of equipment.
- Uphold Company Standards – Understand, follow, and actively promote all company policies and procedures to maintain a professional and compliant workplace.
- Ensure Worksite Safety – Clean and prepare work areas to identify and eliminate potential hazards before and after tasks.
- Support Team Goals – Take on additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor , ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a Clean Work Environment – Demonstrate diligence in keeping work areas organized, safe, and free of unnecessary hazards at all times.
