What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Security Engineer position at Unisys?

Position: Cloud Security Engineer
Location: Rockville MD Hybrid 2 days/week
Role:
- Main job: Managing Firewall (AWS WAF)
- We review tickets submitted from application teams for application changes and see if changes in WAF need to be made and work with the app teams. There are also 200 application teams we support; when something breaks, we’ll sit with the app team and diagnose the problem. We write scripts to modify configurations for xyz # of applications prior to a change and automate configurations.
- Will also be setting up DNS records and be involved in obtaining digital certificates for new applications that is going to host.
Looking for someone strong in WAF/Infosec cloud engineering with Python/shell
Must have’s:
- Combo of: Cloud Engineer Cloud security
- Cloud Security: AWS WAF
- Cloud engineering: Can write code, deploy components into primarily AWS
- Python, shell scripting
- Network /DNS fundamentals (understand tools to look up domain names, IP address)
