What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Engineer position at Unisys?
***Ideal: someone from incident response background to pivot/get trained in offensive security work (“red team” security). Will end up doing vulnerability research, threat assessments, pen testing/mobile pen testing.
**3 years of experience. Degrees don’t matter; he has good experience with ppl who only had high school diploma.
Must have’s:
- Must demonstrate passion about security in resume : examples: github, capture the flag (CTF), go to some conference / presentation, bug bounty activity
- OSCP
- Incident response background (note: will not be doing incidence response work)
- Splunk
- Interest in learning offensive security work
Nice to have’s:
- Coding (like Python), mobile pen testing/pen testing
JD:
Passionate about security.
OSCP certificate holder, Skills in performing mobile app pentest, vulnerability research and supporting Incident response.
Coding experience is a plus.
No requirement for degree or major.
at least 3 years work experience.
