What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at UNIT B / Chocolate Maven?
The Chocolate Maven Bakery and Café has an opening for an exceptional server at our new evening venue, Unit B. Excellent communication skills, quickness of action, cheerfulness, warmth and great customer service combined with attention to detail are required of this position.
Hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, plus occasional special events. This may expand moving towards summer.

Responsibilities
- Communicate with guests in a warm, friendly and clear manner, ensuring a welcoming, professional and upscale atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the dining experience, addressing any guest needs promptly.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met while handling and serving food.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, enhancing the fine dining experience for guests.
- Clear and manicure tables throughout the evening
- Help prep, setup and dining room, tables, settings and glassware
- Help set room for following day
Compensation for this position includes wages and tips. The compensation indicated is typical including tips plus wages.
