Concrete Laborer and Finisher

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction skills. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards, contributing to the overall quality of our construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring, including framing and leveling.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
• Finish surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during various stages of construction.
• Collaborate with team members on site layout and project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction fields.
• Strong knowledge of concrete properties and finishing techniques.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely; commercial driving experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with hardscape installation and restoration techniques.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
