What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP, Sales position at Unit?
About Unit
Unit is a market leader in embedded finance. We offer ready-to-launch financial services - like banking and capital - and serve millions of end-users across ~100 customers, including Wix, Bill.com, Honeybook, Relay, and more.
We’re repeat founders with technical backgrounds, working hard to build a successful company that we’re proud to work at. Our product moves $40b annually and processes 12m API calls daily. We’ve raised $160m from top investors including Insight, Accel, and 60 angels.
THE ROLE
4 years after launch, we’re serving ~100 customers, generating tens of millions in revenues and growing fast. We believe that this is just the beginning: as more financial services make their way into software in the next 5 years, Unit has a tremendous market opportunity ahead of it. We’re at a special moment: we’re serving some of the largest software companies building financial services, and our growth is accelerating with the new addition of ready-to-launch banking capital.
We’re hiring a Vice President of Sales to drive demand generation among 500 target accounts and build a brand that continues to stand out. The position is based in New York and reports to the CEO.
We’re looking for a leader who lives in the details, obsesses with winning, and has experience managing sales in software companies that won their markets. You will join an excellent leadership team; hire, train and manage a high-performing revenue team; and establish Unit as a category leader. For the right candidate, this is a rare opportunity to solve hard problems and help build an industry-defining company from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Working at Unit means joining a global team on a mission to create a more equitable financial ecosystem. We’re a fast-growing team of individuals who are passionate about their work, see the big picture and always seek to empower our clients and their end-customers.
Compensation Range: $200K - $300K
