Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fitness Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire and motivate clients to achieve their fitness goals through engaging classes and personalized training sessions. A strong background in various fitness disciplines, along with knowledge of anatomy and physiology, is essential for this role. As a Fitness Instructor, you will play a vital role in promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering a supportive community within our gym.
Responsibilities
- Lead large group fitness classes, including but not limited to HIIT (Strength and Conditioning), Low Impact (Barre and Pilates Fusion- advanced and intermediate), and Yoga sessions.
- Execute and lead pre-programmed training programs tailored to avg age 30-70 year old client needs and goals.
- Provide instruction on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and safety protocols.
- Monitor client progress and adjust programs with supervisor approval, as necessary to ensure effective results.
- Promote fitness programs and services to potential clients through effective sales techniques and social media platforms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workout environment for all participants.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness and wellness to provide the best possible experience for clients.
Experience
- Proven experience in sports coaching or as a fitness instructor is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics.
- Experience in HIIT circuit training formats for various fitness levels and goals.
- Familiarity with group fitness formats and techniques.
- Previous experience in fitness sales is advantageous but not required.
- Certification from a recognized fitness organization is preferred. (ACE, NASM, AFAA, CFSC, Personal Trainer, etc)

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 2 per week
