Description
The purpose of this position is to develop, evaluate, improve, and document the manufacturing process for complex composite aero structures. This includes management and definition of the manufacturing plans and methods; including tooling methods and processes, equipment methods and processes, automation, composite manufacturing processes, and assembly to align production to customer requirements. Senior Manufacturing Engineer may be hands-on, interacting with shop floor personnel and manufacturing groups but primarily will mentor the engineering team to ensure new product introductions are on schedule and lean plans are created and implemented.
