Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate music lessons tailored to each child’s unique needs and abilities in their homes.
- Adapt teaching methods to support children with special needs, demonstrating compassion, flexibility, and creativity.
- Incorporate a variety of musical activities, such as singing, rhythm exercises, movement, and playing simple instruments, to inspire curiosity and learning.
- Build positive relationships with children and their families to ensure a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
- Monitor and communicate each student’s progress effectively with parents or guardians.
Requirements:
- Strong musical background, with proficiency in singing, basic piano or guitar, and knowledge of music theory.
- Experience teaching or working with young children, including those with special needs.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to the unique learning styles and behavioral needs of children with compassion and flexibility.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with children and families.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to students’ homes.
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends.
