Sales Agronomist

What We’re Looking For:
United Agronomy is looking for a Sales Agronomist based in our Williston, ND location to grow our sales by facilitating the sale of our crop protection chemistries, seed, fertilizer, and inoculant offerings. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, possess excellent communication and organization skills, and keep focus on future growth and constant improvement. The Sales Agronomist will work closely with the Location Manager and Sales Manager to ensure our patrons needs are being met in a timely and efficient manner.
Required duties, responsibilities, and knowledge:
· Identify gaps with customers based on current product mix and potential product opportunities to support the customers’ success
· Proactively meet with customers throughout the year, including location manager in the meetings as appropriate
· Identify new opportunities in your area. Make contact with prospects identified
· Provide technical expertise and knowledge with customers.
· Share tools and insights with customers
· Provide solutions to meet customer needs
· Communicate with other sales team members to share best practices and ideas to increase products sold.
· Ability to work within a team setting and individually
Qualifications:
· Post-secondary degree in business or a related field required or related work experience leading and managing a like business and employees
· Experience leading store operations with multiple departments
· Experience directly supervising employees and managers
Salary and Benefits:
Base Pay: $70-100k or more DOE
Profit Sharing Bonus: Dependent on performance and company profitability
