As an MS Access/SQL Software Developer at United Air Temp, you will be pivotal in designing,

developing, and maintaining our Access and SQL database solutions. You will collaborate with

cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data analysts, and product managers, to

implement efficient and scalable database architectures that support our applications and services.

MS Access and SQL Application Developer - Responsibilities:

• Designed, developed, and optimized Access and SQL database solutions to meet business requirements and performance goals.

• Create and maintain complex Access and SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to

support application functionality.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, including query optimization and index tuning.

• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of

applications with the database layer.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and

maintainability.

• Implement and enforce database security best practices to protect sensitive data.

• Execute processes to review and fulfill requests for information utilizing requirements analysis and programming skills (Access, SQL, BI, and others).

• Participate in database schema design and ensure data integrity and consistency.

• Monitor and maintain database systems to ensure high availability and reliability.

• Stay current with the latest trends and technologies related to database development and

management.

MS Access and SQL Application Developer - Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 2 years of experience with MS Access processes and tools.

• Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

• 5 years of experience developing applications within Microsoft Access database design principles and best practices.

• Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

• Experience with database performance tuning and query optimization techniques.

• Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.

• Strong organizational skills, creative thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, concern for quality, accuracy, decision-making, and time management.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

MS Access and SQL Application Developer - Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Microsoft Access and MS SQL Server.

• Skilled in creating complex queries, forms, and outputs using MS Access database tools and

relational databases for medium-sized applications.

• Knowledge of database technologies like Sybase Central, MS SQL, MS Access, SharePoint List, etc.

• Knowledge of reporting platforms and services (Access, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

• Customer service-oriented and excellent communication skills, both oral and written
