Key Responsibilities
The Account Manager in collaboration with the Global/National Account Manager will maximize share growth at assigned Global/National Travel Management Company accounts. Increased revenue, share and contract performance with focus on high yield domestic, international, corporate and leisure revenues. Agreements, initiatives, and events are calibrated to maximize performance against business objectives.

The base pay range for this role is $62,415.00 to $85,140.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.

Account Management, Business Planning, and Administration
- Supports Global Account Manager with day-to-day account management responsibilities, including resolution of service issues, capturing competitive intelligence, account planning, performance reporting, budgeting, and preparing client-facing presentation materials. Taking ownership of assigned areas within the TMC portfolio.
- Monitors and analyzes agency performance data to find opportunities and threats and collaborates with internal/external collaborators to develop and implement action plans to drive share to United.
- Leverages knowledge of digital selling tools and booking technologies to ensure that United is advantageously displayed in applicable selling channels.
- Collaborates with Global Account Manager to increase UA visibility and selling capabilities within the agency. Activities include planning and execution of agent education events, leadership engagement meetings, promotional events, business planning sessions, and media planning.
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 1 years’ experience in sales or airline management experience
- Strong communication, analytical and negotiating skills
- Proficiency in key business computer applications (ex. MS Office)
- Ability to create and deliver exceptional client-facing presentations
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- MBA
- CTE/GLP
- Knowledge and user experience of the company’s systems and data sources used within Sales
- Salesforce/CRM system experience
- Ability to quickly learn and leverage digital and social selling tools
