Key Responsibilities
The Campus Recruiter is responsible for recruiting early career talent and promoting United’s employment brand on select university campuses. In this role, you may be responsible for hiring across any of our enterprise programs, internship program, or for functional roles.. The Campus Recruiter works closely with internal teams, students, university career service offices, faculty and more to develop and execute on creative recruitment ideas/events designed to attract early career talent to and educate them about careers in the world of aviation, beyond pilot and flight attendant opportunities. Key Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities may include:
- Implement the strategies at each school; collaborate with division leads and the campus team.
- Ensure enterprise lens with all efforts; one consistent image
- Closely assess competitive trends (school & industry). Initiate, organize, staff and attend campus events. These events may include: career fairs, networking nights, career/recruiter forums, feedback sessions with new hires / alumni / interns, usage of recruiting campaign materials, promotions/sponsorships, and/or other externally focused efforts.
- Serve as the primary liaison for candidates / student clubs to United.
- Develop key sourcing activities, which may include: external job posting, employee referrals, usage of former interns on campus, pipeline development/management, university personnel, website advertising or other sourcing methods.
- Responsible for full-cycle recruitment activity: sourcing talent for open opportunities, assessing and screening candidates to determine fit with job requirements, and managing the offer process, including negotiation to successful acceptance.
- Conduct debrief sessions with hiring manager(s) to discuss candidate qualifications. These activities may include reviewing test data, interviewer's recommendations or leading/participating in selection decision-making meetings for internal teams.
- Maintain complete and accurate staffing documentation as required by law, updating information in United’s applicant tracking system to guarantee adherence and accuracy of metrics.
- Provides subject matter expertise in HR projects as required.
- Support summer internship programming, including: supporting new intern orientation sessions, development and execution of summer intern events, hosting office hours for intern drop ins, and more.
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- 2 years HR experience with at least 6 months of dedicated recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated good judgment and confidentiality.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels – from students to senior leaders.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, highly team-oriented environment.
- Excellent time management, follow-through and organizational skills; meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and ability to delegate work as needed.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 40% during peak season (Sept-Mar).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
- University / Campus recruiting experience
- Experience with recruiting program administration
- Experience using Taleo or other applicant tracking systems (e.g., iCIMS)
- Experience using Phenom or other CRM tools (e.g., SmashFly)
- Experience using Handshake, 12Twenty, Symplicity, and/or other campus recruitment-specific tools.
- Experience with project management disciplines.
- Experience in managing large & small scale events.
- Understanding of colleges & university career placement offices.

Salary : $64,885 - $88,440
