Key Responsibilities :

The Global Procurement - Sr Analyst – Strategic Sourcing manages sourcing for their respective category and leads cross-functional supplier qualification and sourcing activities for assigned category. This role is the strategic interface towards supplier and accountable for building strong and strategic supplier relationships; ensure alignment, anticipate changes, and drive activities based on supply market changes and recommendations of task forces.

The Global Procurement – Sr Analyst - Strategic Sourcing supports United’s Global Procurement team by successfully leading sourcing initiatives within the designated categories. This role is responsible for meeting and exceeding business objectives in terms of scope of service, quality, risk mitigation, delivery timing, and cost.

• Manage-end-to-end accountability for defining the category and supplier strategy with stakeholders in line with the guidance of the commercial task force. Drive supplier selection according to category strategy, supplier base development, recommendation for the task forces, and identification of new suppliers. 25%
• Manage business relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers including routine enhancements to agreements, communication of demand / volume changes, updating contracts and sharing end-user feedback. Promotes co-operation and communication between internal stakeholders across participating entities. 25%
• Lead the creation and management of Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quote (RFQ), and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents to solicit bids and evaluate suppliers. Leverage Coupa knowledge to streamline purchasing, track orders, and manage supplier relationships. Utilize criteria such as cost, quality, delivery, and capacity to select the best suppliers. 25%
• Develop processes and material for Procurement Institute’s capability building team. This will include complex excel modeling, PowerPoint process mapping, and leveraging additional analytical tools for workflow development (, PowerBI, Alteryx).
• Learn Strategic Sourcing Process and build content that will train Global Procurement employees on best-in-class processes. Become an expert and facilitate discussions on training materials

The base pay range for this role is $79, to $108,

The base salary range / hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and / or long-term incentive compensation awards.
